Built by Saab as a supersonic interceptor in the 1950's, the Draken ("Dragon") has since been relegated to the role of fighter-bomber. Now obsolete, the Draken boasted high performance for its day and a highly unusual double-delta planform. It can operate from country highways and unpaved dispersal airstrips.
